Transportation to KIST from Incheon Airport
The international airport is located at a considerable distance from Seoul. Expect to spend approximately 90 minutes travel time from the terminal to the KIST campus.

Limousine buses leave regularly from clearly marked stops outside the terminal building(see map) to designated stops in the city.

	Go to Bus Stop 4A if arriving at the East Terminal, or 10A if arriving at the West ternminal.
	Take the bus with the destination “Noweon, Seongbuk”.
	The fare is 13,000 Won for an express bus, which may be paid to the bus driver or prepaid at ticket booths placed near the stops. For 12,000 Won you may get a bus that goes to the same stop near KIST, but is slightly slower due to a stop at Gimpo Airport.
	Tell the driver as you get on the bus that you want to get off at Dongduk Women’s University Station(Wolgok).
	Turn left when you exit the bus, walk about 300 meters, and just before a pedestrian overpass will be a small street on the right leading to KIST’s North Gate.

Taxis are conveniently located just outside the terminal building. The grey or white taxis are standards and some what cheaper than the black “deluxe” taxis. The deluxe taxis are a little more comfortable and drivers sometimes speak English, but the standard ones are perfectly adequate for most trips. Both taxi services operate on a metered system, but the passenger will also be responsible for the cost of highway tolls.
The cost will vary depending on traffic conditions, but generally runs about 50,000 Won for standard taxis and 85,000Won for black taxis.

If you are going to the airport to meet someone, or do not have much luggage, you can save some money by taking the subway to Gimpo Airport and getting an express bus to Incheon Airport from there. This route will cost around 5,000 Won. Alternatively, to save money in a group you may take a taxi from KIST to Cheongnyangny subway station and transfer to an Incheon Airport bus. This bus charges a fare of 8,000 Won.
